Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems are outside of our control.
Safety
All books are stored shrink-wrapped in an air-tight container before processing. CoVid19 protocols are in effect in our facility to protect our staff and customers while the books are being packaged for mailing.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Regular parcel rate of $18 at 50% off. We offer flat rate shipping of $9.00 for books weighing over 400g (Learning by Doing, Designing Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, Welcome to Our Bighouse and Marquetry) for one, two or as many as three books in a box across Canada sent at the Regular Parcel rate.  For numbers of books over 3, the shopping cart will calculate Canada Post rates at checkout. Letter mail rate of $10 at 50% off. We offer flat rate shipping of $5.00 for the smaller books, (What am I Seeing, In the Beginning, there was the First World and Cross Stitch) in amounts under 500g that can be shipped in an envelope.
Regular parcel rate of $18 at 50% off. For amounts of the foregoing smaller books weighing over 500g that are shipped in a box, the cost will be $9.00.

Shipping times vary from our facility in BC from 4 to 8 business days depending on the distance from BC. Shipping from Vancouver Island, where we are based, adds an additional day to shipping.
Additional Carrier Options

Small packet rate of $20 at 50% off. We offer flat rate shipping of $10 for books weighing over 400 g (Learning by Doing, Designing Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, Welcome to Our Bighouse and Marquetry) of $10.00 for one, two or as many as three books in a box across the continental USA (including Alaska) sent at the Small Packet rate. Note: Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Raven Publishing Inc. is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. Tracking is not available for all countries.
If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@ravenpublishing.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or make exchanges. If you are not sure which books will meet your needs, please contact us at support@ravenpublishing.com.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please photograph the box and the book(s). Be sure to keep the damaged box until you receive compensation. Show your paid invoice to the post office and they will reimburse your expenses.
If you do not receive compensation from the post office, please email us as soon as possible at support@ravenpublishing.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis and will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
